Honouring the memory of a loved one is a deeply personal and significant occasion. With our convenient location, versatile reception rooms, and amenities, we aim to ease the burden of planning, allowing you to focus on remembering and celebrating the life of your loved one.

Located just a short distance from the new North Wiltshire Crematorium, our venue offers two reception rooms suitable for wakes or funeral receptions. Our main Function Room and fully-licensed bar provide a welcoming space for up to 150 seated guests. We understand the importance of privacy and our smaller Conference Room provides an idea space for sharing memories or supporting one another during this time of remembrance.

At our facility, we take pride in our surroundings. Our Function Room opens up to a terraced patio, providing a peaceful outdoor area for you and your guests to relax and reminisce after the service.

To enhance your gathering, we offer modern amenities to facilitate music, presentations, and sharing cherished memories. With free Wi-Fi available throughout the venue, you can stay connected during this important occasion. Our state-of-the-art AV technology includes a large drop-down screen and projection facility, allowing you to play music or share a slideshow of treasured photographs, adding a personal touch to the event.

FAQs

Are dogs allowed at Ballards Ash?

No. As Ballards Ash is the home of Royal Wootton Bassett Rugby Club and is primarily used for sports events, we run a strictly NO DOGS policy on the site.

Is there car parking available?

We also offer ample free car parking for your guests during events at Ballards Ash, accomodating up to 300 vehicles. The car park includes allocated disabled parking bays directly outside the entrance to the building.

Have you got audio visual equipment we can use?

Incorporating audio visual equipment into your venue for a funeral or wake can provide a comforting and personalized experience, allowing you to showcase cherished memories, heartfelt tributes, and poignant visuals that celebrate the life of the departed.

Our venue is equipped with state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment, high-speed internet access and a large drop-down projector screen.

From Finger Buffets to Canapes, BBQ or Hog Roast - we understand just how important food and drink is to celebrate your most special occasion.
